Where will you take your photos? There are so many options from city streets to small towns. It is very popular to have photo shoots in parks and places with lots of plants and nature. Lately, we've noticed that many couples like to have at least 2 locations in their photo shoot.

Have you chosen a date for your photo shoot? For destination photo shoots, many couples like to plan their photo shoot in either in the beginning or middle of their travel plans. This way they can get used to the time difference and get the photo shoot over with so they can enjoy being a tourist for the rest of their trip (and eat what they want).

Time & Schedule

What is the schedule for your photo shoot like? Depending on your package, a photo shoot can last from 1 - 8 hours! It is important that you decide on a start and end time, as well as where you will meet your photographer. If you have more than one location, don't forget to factor in travel time and other logistics like taxi fees, and admission costs.

Outfit

Are you going casual or formal? Will you bring your own clothes or rent? So many questions! Many couples coming to Japan want to have their photos taken in traditional Japanese kimono. Although this adds a bit to any package price the photos come out beautifully! You can see our article here about photo packages and clothing rental.

How long will it take you to get to your photo shoot location? Will you take a taxi? How much will a taxi cost? Do you need to pay for the photographer's transportation as well? There are many things you need to consider when planning your photo shoot, especially if you have more than one location.
